Best Cat Beds for Every Type of Cat 🐱🛏️

Cats spend a huge part of their day asleep. So why do so many of them ignore the bed you bought and nap in a cardboard box, the laundry basket or right on top of your keyboard? 😂

The secret is that every cat has their own sleeping personality. Some love to hide away in a dark, cosy den. Others curl up tight in a little ball, stretch out in a sunny window or lounge like they own the place.

Once you know which type your cat is, finding a bed they'll actually use becomes so much easier. Here's our guide to the best cat beds for every type of cat. 💛

The Hider 🙈

Disappears under the duvet, behind the sofa or into the back of the wardrobe? Your cat feels safest when they're tucked away out of sight. Hiders love beds with a roof over their head.

Cuddle Cave Bed 👈 A soft, plush hideaway that works two ways. The Cuddle Cave Bed is a soft, plush bed with a cosy hood they can snuggle under, perfect for cats who love to tuck themselves away. Available in S, M and L.

Indoor Cat Tent 👈 A stylish little den with a soft cushion inside, giving your cat a calm, private retreat for napping or watching the world go by. It's a hideaway they'll love as much as a cardboard box, and one you'll actually want on show. Available in M, L and XL.

The Curler and the Explorer 🍩

Always sleeping in a tight little ball, nose tucked under tail? Or never quite sure if it's nap time or play time? These cats love a bed that wraps around them, with a bit of adventure built in.

2-in-1 Cat Donut Bed 👈 Part tunnel, part bed and all fun. This sturdy felt donut gives your cat a cosy tunnel to dart through, pounce from and curl up inside. When they'd rather lounge in the open, it unzips into two separate beds. Available in M and L.

Cat Play and Relaxation Oasis 👈 For the cat who wants to be seen while they nap. 😂 This clear bubble bed sits on a sturdy base, giving your cat a cosy curled-up spot with a view of everything going on around them. Available in M, L and XL.

The Sunbather 🌞

Always following the patch of sunlight around the house, or perched on the narrowest windowsill to watch the birds? Your cat needs a front-row seat.

Cat Hammock 👈 It attaches straight onto your window with strong suction cups, giving your cat their very own perch to bask in the sunshine and keep an eye on the neighbourhood. It's their favourite nap spot and their favourite TV channel, rolled into one. No tools or drilling needed, and it holds cats up to 10kg.

The Royal 👑

Already claimed the best seat on your sofa? Treats every cushion like a throne? Your cat knows they're royalty, so they deserve a bed to match.

Royal Pet Sofa Bed👈 A luxurious mini sofa with soft, plush cushioning and an elegant design, giving your cat their very own throne to lounge on and survey their kingdom. It looks stunning in any room, and it might just stop them stealing yours. Available in M to XXL, for cats and small dogs up to 12.5kg.

Washable Pet Sofa Blanket 👈 If your cat simply refuses to give up your sofa, meet them halfway. This thick, cushioned sofa bed protects your furniture from fur and scratches while giving them a cosy spot right beside you. The cover comes off and goes straight in the wash.

How to Get Your Cat to Love Their New Bed 💡

1. Choose the right size 📏 Measure your cat from nose to tail while they're curled up or stretched out, depending on how they like to sleep. If they're between sizes, or love to sprawl, size up for extra room.

2. Put it where they already nap 📍 Cats are creatures of habit. Place the new bed in their favourite spot, whether that's a sunny window, a quiet corner or next to the radiator.

3. Make it smell like home 🧸 Pop a blanket or toy that smells familiar inside, so the bed feels like theirs straight away.

4. Add a little temptation 😼 A sprinkle of catnip or a few treats inside can work wonders for curious cats.

5. Be patient ⏳ Some cats jump straight in, while others take a few days to warm up to something new. Give them time, and don't force them into it.
